FlatInk (operated by zwyk studio) respects your privacy. This policy describes the data handled by the site, the editor and the gallery, and how you stay in control of it.

Data we process
- Account (if you sign in): your email address, your name, and the identifier provided by GitHub or Google during a social login.
- Session: a session token, the associated IP address and browser (user-agent), and creation/expiry dates.
- Editor: it is local-first. Your projects are stored in your browser (IndexedDB) and are not sent to our servers — unless you choose to publish a piece.
- Gallery: if you publish a piece, we store the animation file and its metadata (title, tags, dimensions, date).
Purposes
To provide and secure the service, authenticate you, and host the gallery. We do not sell your data and do not run targeted advertising.
Legal basis
Processing relies on the performance of the service you request, and on your consent for signing in through a third-party provider.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie, strictly necessary to keep you signed in across our subdomains. No advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
Third parties
Social login relies on GitHub and Google (OAuth), subject to their own privacy policies. Hosting (servers and database) is provided by our host on our behalf.
Retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists; expired sessions are deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
Minors
The service is not intended for children under 15 without the consent of a legal guardian.
Changes
This policy may change; the date at the top indicates the latest version.
